After goals by Nick Bonino and Henrik Sedin in the first period, Vancouver was evidently confident heading into the second frame. A few minutes into the period, Radim Vrbata blasted a shot top-cheese past Ray Emery. Emery promptly received the hook from coach Craig Berube in favour of Rob Zepp.
Just 22 seconds later, Jannik Hansen caught a clean breakaway and beat Zepp.
